OutBack’s pre-assembled and pre-wired power systems, featuring the FXR / VFXR and Radian Series inverter/chargers, take the concept of fast, easy installation to a new level of performance, value, and flexibility. Just install the mounting bracket, hang the system on a wall, make the necessary connections, and the system is fully operational.

FLEXpower One FXR

The FLEXpower One FXR is ideal for smaller power applications – including cabins, chalets, homes, remote communication sites and backup power systems – and accommodates all essential protective devices in a cost-effective manner with the smallest possible footprint

FLEXpower THREE FXR

The FLEXpower THREE FXR is designed for 120/208VAC 60Hz three phase applications with medium sized power requirements, such as light commercial or larger backup power systems. FLEXpower THREE systems are offered in 9kW and 10.8kW configurations

FLEXpower Radian

The FLEXpower Radian is available with the Radian A Series 4kW or 8kW inverter/charger, both models incorporate OutBack’s GridZero technology, a superior level of intelligence in energy management for self-generation and self-consumption programs

FLEXpower TWO FXR

The FLEXpower TWO FXR is ideal for applications with medium-sized power requirements such as larger homes and light commercial or backup power systems. With its compact design and easy-toinstall mounting system, FLEXpower TWO can be mounted in either horizontal or vertical orientation to allow installation in more space-limited locations

FLEXpower FOUR FXR

The FLEXpower FOUR FXR is ideal for 120/240VAC split-phase applications with larger sized power requirements, such as large residential, commercial, or village power systems. FLEXpower FOUR systems are offered in 12kW and 14.4kW and can be combined with other FLEXpower systems for up to a total of 36kVA

Charge Controllers

A charge controller’s main function is to optimize a PV array’s output which can fluctuate based on shading and temperature variables found on the average roof. OutBack’s industry-leading Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) charge controllers offer customers the same reliability and durability built into every OutBack product. Innovative solar harvesting and battery charging algorithms allow customers to maximize system potential and increase renewable energy yield by up to 30 percent.

As the industry’s first multi-voltage MPPT charge controller with a landmark design, OutBack’s FLEXmax Series is the most recognized controller on the market today. FLEXmax Controllers support a wide variety of system designs, battery chemistries, and integrate seamlessly in terms of system data management and programming.

As the demand for renewable energy increases, the needs of system integrators and installers are rapidly evolving as well. OutBack is responding by engineering its extensive line of balance-of-system components into pre-assembled systems to give installers the best of both worlds: OutBack quality in a more easily specified and installed package.

The new OutBack Integrated Battery Rack System is a standardized solution built from the industry’s most proven technology and materials in the field of renewable energy management and storage. As consumer and commercial interest builds in grid-interactive and stand-alone renewable power systems, OutBack is available as a one-stop resource with a full line of EnergyCell Batteries as well as integrated racking and cabinet options.

Safety Compliance

The ICS Plus complies with new NEC 2014 requirements for PV installations, it’s the first-end-to-end solution listed to UL1741 with photovoltaic rapid shutdown systems (PVRSS) for both battery-based and grid-direct systems. it comes pre-integrated to save labor time and costs, and also comes pre-packaged to streamline ordering.

The FLEXware ICS offers value, simplicity, and ease of installation in a single solution. The pre-integrated design saves labor time and costs. It is a single-brand solution that is UL-1741 listed from roof to battery. Making OutBack truly “one stop shopping” if you are looking for a safe, fully-compliant solution.

OutBack’s FLEXware PV Combiner Series is ideal for both small or large systems, the FLEXware PV8 and FLEXware PV12 accommodates the overcurrent protection requirements of your application.

OutBack’s proprietary communication network enables all of our products to communicate with each other, providing a seamless setup and user experience across all components of an OutBack system.

OutBack’s product line currently includes a variety of communication devices for maximum flexibility and control of renewable energy systems. The HUB System communications manager forms the backbone of a networked OutBack power conversion system. The OutBack FLEXnet DC is the ultimate DC system monitoring device with integrated networked communications capabilities.
